Owono Baby’s commitment to quality begins with the careful selection of raw materials, such as organic cotton, grown in the USA ethically and socially responsibly, without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. In addition to fabrics, at Owono Baby, we also rigorously select the woods used in our furniture and toys.

Sourced exclusively from Portugal, they come from responsible and sustainable sources, always aligned with our ethical and environmental standards. We choose woods such as olive, oak, pine, and other varieties, as they combine durability, safety, and sustainability.

Being a renewable, biodegradable, and naturally resistant material, wood guarantees the longevity of Owono Baby products, allowing them to accompany children as they grow. Its smooth texture and absence of harmful chemicals also make it safe for babies who, with the curiosity of their age, might put it in their mouths.

GOTS certification: Owono Baby’s guarantee of social and environmental responsibility

All Owono Baby production is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), one of the world’s most prestigious textile production standards. The GOTS certification ensures that every step of the production process, from raw material harvesting to product manufacturing and packaging, is done in a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable way. This includes respecting workers’ rights, reducing water and energy consumption, and eliminating hazardous chemicals from the production process.
